BCM's 3rd Birthday Bash - Celebration Post #1

It doesn't feel like it's been three years since BCM first began its adventure in blogging. It was just an idea I had one day and I couldn't shake it. I wanted to blog about books. And I wanted to do it with my friends.


So I messaged my friend Nicole on gchat and asked her if she would want to do it with me. She said yes and the next thing I knew there were four of us: Me, Nicole, Kendra and Sasha. Then Julie joined us. Then Mindy, Nicki and now Lynn. A few have stepped back, but most of us have been here from the start and it's truly been an honor to work with these wonderful women.


It's been an AMAZING three years and we hope you'll join us for the entire next month as we celebrate our blogging birthday. Every day (Monday through Friday) we'll be offering a brand new giveaway as well as sharing some of our favorite blogging moments and pay homage to those that have inspired us to keep going and have always been there for us when it got tough.


We're grateful to all those publishers (and their INCREDIBLE, hard-working publicists!), agents, bloggers and readers who have made BCM and Best I've Read (BIR) so successful. Without you, we wouldn't have half as much fun as we do.

EVERLASTING is one of my all-time favorite debuts. It's one of those books that you pick up and it immediately sucks you into a brand new world, and refuses to let you go until you've finished the last page. I adore this book so much, and its sequel THE ETERNAL SEA even more (Stay tuned! You'll be able to win the sequel later in our birthday bash!). If you haven't yet read this incredible book, now is your chance to fall in love with it just the way I did. You can find my review HERE.

PERCEPTION is the sequel to the captivating and brilliant read CLARITY by Kim Harrington. This series is dangerous and fun in all the right ways, always leaving me wanting more. I couldn't read this book fast enough and this series is always one I recommend to reluctant readers. If you love your paranormal stories with a dark twist, you'll love this book! I loved this series so much I jumped at the chance to organize the blog tour for it. You can read all about the tour and everything the bloggers had to say about it HERE.
