Luce Price sees things. Dark, shadowy, scary things. After the terrible death of her boyfriend, Luce is sent to Sword and Cross, a reform school in Savannah, Georgia. The moment she sees Daniel Grigori she can't shake the feeling that she had met him somewhere before. Luce tries to get closer to Daniel but he pushes her away again and again but Luce just can't give up.
I enjoyed this book but I also found Luce to be annoying at times. I was left wanting more details a good amount of the time but at the end of the book a lot of those details were explained away in such a way that makes me think I'll still be anxious to read the second in this series. I'm giving Fallen 3.5 out of 5 stars.
